Eden Biodesign advances toward establishing its U.S. operation

Michael Faughnan appointed as Business Development Director

Eden Biodesign announced the appointment of Michael Faughnan as business development Director of its US subsidiary, Eden Biodesign, Inc. Michael will be supporting Dr. Roger Lias, President of Eden Biodesign, Inc. and Group Commercial Director, with the Company's expansion in the US and is responsible for North American Business Development activities.

Located in Southern California, Michael brings over 14 years of experience in successfully aiding clients in accelerating their biopharmaceutical products in to and through clinical development and to commercial launch.

Most recently, Michael was Manager of Sales and Business Development at Cytovance Biologics, a contract manufacturing organization, where he was responsible for North American commercial activities including business development and marketing. Previously Michael spent five years as territory manager in the industrial cell culture media division of Irvine Scientific where he was instrumental in supporting numerous biotech industry leaders with media platform development. Prior to joining Irvine Scientific, Michael was a sales professional at Woodside Biomedical (now part of Abbott Laboratories).
