SwedenBIO has appointed Per-Erik Sandlund, former CEO of Amersham Biosciences, as new CEO. He will be succeding Dr. Hans Nyctelius who has recently been appointed as COO of Q-med, one of the largest biotech companies in northern Europe.

"SwedenBIO has, under the leadership of Dr Nyctelius, in a very short time established a strong support and today has about 110 member companies" says Björn Nilsson, chairman of SwedenBIO. "I want to thank Hans profoundly for this extraordinary achievement. Per-Erik Sandlund with his long industrial experience has the right expertise to take SwedenBIO to the next level."
