ClinPhone wins Sage Business Award

22-Oct-2004

ClinPhone Group, the global leader in clinical technology solutions, has won the 2004 Sage Business Awards in the Best Growth Through Technology category for companies with more than 100 members of staff.

The Best Growth Through Technology Award is given to the company demonstrating the best correlation between the implementation of an IT solution and growth in profits, customer base and employees over the past 12 months and it follows ClinPhone's success in 2002 when it won the same prestigious accolade.

The Sage Business Awards - in partnership with The Daily Telegraph - are now in their third successful year and are intended to reward businesses of all sizes with a range of honours. They are aimed at reflecting good business practices, superior leadership, impressive customer service and imaginative and innovative use of the web - all areas in which ClinPhone has a proven and impressive track record.

As well as the title, winners of the Sage Awards will receive coverage in the business section of the Daily Telegraph, a specially commissioned trophy, advertising in the paper and a range of free Sage software.

"These awards are designed not just to commend UK entrepreneurs starting out in business but also to recognise and reward more established companies like ourselves which continue to thrive and grow," commented Patrick Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director. "This win is testament to our ongoing global efforts and we are translating the success we enjoyed as a smaller company into commercial achievement for what is now an ever growing international operation."

The award is the latest in a series of successes for ClinPhone Group in 2004. Secretary of State for Education and Skills, Charles Clarke, recently declared the Nottingham company as one of the UK's first Investors in people Business Champions.

In addition to Nottingham headquarters, the company has U.S. offices in Princeton, NJ; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA. European facilities are located in Brussels, Belgium and Heidelberg, Germany.
