febit Appoints Heinz Blunier as COO
febit holding GmbH announced the appointment of Heinz Blunier, to the newly created position of Chief Operation Officer.
Blunier previously served as Head of Engineering Department at Inventa, CEO of Tegimenta AG, a subsidiary of Hoffmann-La-Roche, and Vice President Plant Manager at Boehringer Mannheim. As an independent management consultant he led numerous production and operations projects in Switzerland, Germany and UK mainly in the field of scientific instrumentation.
As COO Heinz Blunier is responsible for instrument production, the technical service, production of Geniom biochips, the Geniom biochip farm as well as the complete supply chain. Blunier has more than 30 years of experience in medical and analytical instrumentation in different positions. He will be based in febit’s headquarter in Heidelberg.
