Sören Mellstig, Gambro's current President and CEO, and Gambro's new Board of Directors have agreed on that Sören Mellstig will leave his position. Jan Bruneheim, 52, has been appointed new President and CEO for Gambro.

Jan Bruneheim will take over the position August 2, 2006. Sören Mellstig will assist Jan Bruneheim and be at the Board's disposition during a transitional period.

Jan has a long and broad international experience from amongst others Swedish Match, SEB, Trygg Hansa. His latest position was as President and CEO for Telefos Group.
