DakoCytomation A/S becomes Dako A/S

03-Nov-2005

On November 1, 2005 DakoCytomation A/S changed its name to Dako. The name change was approved by the shareholders on September 23, 2005.

"We are moving forward with a stronger, simpler version of our name and logo. Since the merger in 2002, we have drawn on many years of experience and taken the best of both worlds, building on strengths resulting from DAKO's experience in reagents and Cytomation's experience in flow cytometry and instrument manufacturing. We feel that now is the time for a name change to signal a new, fully integrated company, committed to providing accurate and reliable system solutions for cell-based cancer diagnostics," says Patrik Dahlén, CEO, Dako.

The name change is being implemented in our 20 subsidiaries worldwide. The new names and trademarks will come into use as soon as possible.
