Genomatix signs nationwide license with the French National Genomic Research Consortium (CNRG)

21-Jul-2005

Genomatix Software GmbH (Munich) announced today that it has closed a contract with the French National Genomic Research Consortium (CNRG). According to Klaus May, Genomatix? head of sales and marketing, this contract covers preferred access for all researchers from the French National Genopoles Network to GenomatixSuitePE.

GenomatixSuitePE enables biologists to discover, explore and understand biologically relevant pathways down to the molecular level. Applying the GenomatixSuitePE pipeline to a researcher's set of genes e. g. from a microarray analysis, generates the full biological network, allowing for functional analysis of the most relevant sub-network and enables understanding of gene regulatory mechanisms on DNA Sequence level.

Klaus May says : "With the French CNRG, the CSC in Finland, and the NIH in the U.S.A. we now have three governmental institutions who have recognized the value of our technology for their national academic research. We further strive to coordinate individual academic subscriptions to a larger institution-wide or nation-wide level ."

Part of the contract provides for on site training and scientific seminars at the different French "Genopole" clusters.
