Former FUCHS manager to lead medical technology division through next phase of growth

Effective December 1, 2025, Dr. Sebastian Heiner shall lead the Executive Management of Greiner Bio-One International GmbH, the medical technology division of Greiner AG. Heiner was most recently a member of the Executive Board at FUCHS SE, where his responsibilities comprised Operations, Procurement, Product Management, R&D and Sustainability. He succeeds Ilke Panzer.

Sebastian Heiner (47), a manager with far-reaching international experience, is due to take over the management of Greiner Bio-One. His extensive expertise and leadership skills make him a driving force in continuing the company’s transformation. “Sebastian Heiner stands for a consistent combination of strategic foresight, team-centric leadership quality and operational implementation power, coupled with a clear claim to innovation and a high level of process quality,” emphasizes Saori Dubourg, CEO of Greiner AG.
“With his expertise in global business development and the ability to implement strategies and processes in an operational capacity, he is the ideal person for the future growth phase of Greiner Bio-One,” Dubourg continues. Together with the Executive Management team and employees, Sebastian Heiner will continue the company’s successful development and provide new sources of impetus. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Executive Board of FUCHS SE in Mannheim.
With the appointment of Sebastian Heiner, Greiner Bio-One is continuing on its growth path, thereby opening a new phase of strategic development based on the tremendous work of Ilke Panzer, CEO Greiner Bio-One International GmbH. Under her leadership, the company has initiated key innovation projects and strengthened its international market position. “Ilke Panzer has led Greiner Bio-One through a phase of important strategic decisions with great professional expertise and has provided decisive stimulus throughout.
