IDT rises to 6th in 'Best Places to Work'

Integrated DNA Technologies has been named one of the top 10 ‘Best Places to Work in Industry’, in a poll of research staff conducted by a leading magazine. Published in The Scientist, the poll put IDT 6th in the small company category, exceeding its 2009 placement of 8th .

Dr. Joseph A. Walder, IDT’s founder and CEO commented, “We are pleased to be named for a second year as a leading place to work, especially since this also reflects the quality and expertise of our staff. IDT has always focused on providing the very best products for its customers and one way we accomplish this is to provide a great place for people to work and be at the forefront of research into new technologies.”

Respondents were asked to assess their working environment according to 45 criteria in 8 different categories, including job satisfaction, benefits, training, and integrity. Edyta Zielinska, Associate Editor of The Scientist, oversees the Best Places to Work survey and stated, “The Scientist is delighted to publish the results of its 8^th ‘Best places to Work in Industry’ survey. This year’s winners include innovative companies that value scientific creativity and encourage employees to give back to their community.”
