Level measurement – Precision under all process conditions

The VEGAPULS 6X is a universal sensor for continuous level measurement of liquids and bulk solids under all process conditions. The guided wave radar sensor VEGAFLEX 83 provides maintenance-free measurement of corrosive liquid or liquid media with the highest hygiene requirements. Even in applications with steam, buildup, foam generation or condensate, the sensor delivers precise and reliable measured values.

Point level detection – Safe protection against overflow and dry run

Whether in liquids, pasty media or fine powders – level switch devices must detect safely under all conditions, without influences such as viscosity, buildup or foam generation leading to faulty measurements. The vibrating level switch and capacitive level switch devices from VEGA operate independently of the medium, are easy to commission and are highly hygienically designed.

Pressure measurement – Reliable monitoring for all measurement tasks

VEGA pressure transmitters precisely measure process, differential and hydrostatic pressure – even with strong temperature fluctuations and CIP/SIP. Robust ceramic and metallic measuring cells ensure reliable measuring values for stable, hygienical pharmaceutical processes.

An adapter system – many advantages

The uniform hygiene adapter system for level, pressure and point level sensor reduces the variety of variants, simplifies maintenance and minimizes downtime. Operators benefit from high flexibility during mounting and replacement – particularly important in multi-product systems or with frequent batch changes.

Hygienic design & safe cleaning

Pharmaceutical plants require reliable measuring values even under sterile conditions. VEGA sensors meet all relevant hygiene certifications such as FDA, EHEDG, 3-A and ASME-BPE. Front-flush process fittings, robust IP69K housings and surfaces with a surface roughness of only 0.3 µm enable residue-free cleaning and safe sterilization. This reliably prevents contamination and increases plant availability.
