It will be installed behind the company firewall and is accessible to seven of its international research units and subsidiaries in The United States of America, Canada, Sweden, and Germany.

Genomatix, specialist in mammalian systems biology, repeatedly has proven its proprietary methods being equally successful applied to plant systems. ElDorado and Gene2Promoter, genomic databases of man, mouse, rat, and Arabidopsis thaliana and a unique resource to gene regulatory sequences, will soon be split into a "green" and a "red" ElDorado. Plant genomes to be integrated include Rice, Corn, Barley, Wheat and Soybean.
