Ariadne Receives Funding from Montgomery County to Facilitate the Company's Growth and Expansion

Ariadne announced receipt of an $80,000 grant from Montgomery County's Economic Development Fund to support the company's growth and expansion. The County funding coincided with the Ariadne advancement and relocation from the Maryland Technology Development Center, the County's one of three business incubators, to new offices in Rockville, Maryland. According to the company, Ariadne has become one of the fastest growing biotechnology companies in Maryland over the last four years. "We are impressed with Ariadne technology and its potential in the market place," commented Peter Bang, Chief of Finance, Adm., and Special Projects Division at Montgomery County Department of Economics Development. "To facilitate Ariadne growth and expansion, Montgomery County stands ready to assist the company in transitioning to the next growth stage". Ariadne technology has allowed the development of software products having a unique combination of vision and expertise. Focus is on pathway analysis and automatic extraction of information from the scientific literature.
