Dyax Corp. Announces Key Management Team Promotions

Dyax Corp. announced several key management promotions. Thomas R. Beck, M.D. has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer, Clive Wood, Ph.D. has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Discovery Research and Chief Scientific Officer and Ivana Magovcevic-Liebisch, Ph.D., J.D. has been promoted to General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Henry Blair will continue to lead the management team of Dyax.

Dr. Beck joined Dyax in June 2005 as Executive Vice President, Business and Product Development, and has successfully supervised and managed Dyax's clinical, regulatory, business development and manufacturing programs, and has played an integral part in moving our HAE program forward. Prior to Dyax, Dr. Beck was the Director, Global Research and Development for UCB Pharma from 1998 to 2004.

Clive Wood has served as Senior Vice President, Discovery Research and Chief Scientific Officer of the Company since August 2003 and successfully led the company's early discovery programs, including development of its technological capabilities. Prior to Dyax, Dr. Wood spent 17 years at Genetics Institute and its successor, Wyeth Research.

Ivana Magovcevic-Liebisch has served in various legal and communications roles at Dyax since 2001, including Chief Patent Counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs while also overseeing Dyax's Investor Relations and Corporate Communications department. Before Dyax, she served as Director of Intellectual Property at Transkaryotic Therapies.
