Sloning and Stanford University start evaluation project for the synthesis of a Statistically Randomized Gene Library
Sloning will utilize its core technology, Slonomics(TM), a DNA engineering platform using defined sets of double stranded DNA triplets to generate this highly sophisticated kind of gene mutant library. The group of Dr. Roger Kornberg at Stanford University will perform in vivo screens based on the library provided by Sloning to identify relevant mutants of a S. cerevisiae RNA Polymerase II.
Jan Van den Brulle, Scientific Director at Sloning commented, "We are looking forward to work together with Dr. Kornberg's group. This project gives us again the opportunity to demonstrate the power of our technology".
