Centrifuges

They can do so much more than put a few standard sized tubes through a fast spin cycle. Some of today’s centrifuges, for instance, offer intelligent rotor management systems or special run programs (e.g. for easily damaged cell samples). Others can be used for microfluidics, well plates or filtration devices, or they enable sample characterization while a run is in progress. The principle of centrifugation is also utilized by sample concentrator instruments.
