Nexia Announces Acquisition of 15% of Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals

26-02-2008: Nexia Biotechnologies Ltd. announced that it has acquired ownership of an aggregate of 19,765,032 common shares of Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals Ltd. representing 15.1% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Inflazyme.

Nexia acquired ownership of 19,765,032 Inflazyme shares at a price of Cdn.$400,000 (Cdn.$0.02 per share) pursuant to a private share purchase agreement entered into effective February 6, 2008. Nexia does not currently own any other securities of Inflazyme.

Nexia acquired the Inflazyme shares for investment purposes. Nexia may from time to time acquire additional securities of Inflazyme, dispose of some or all of the existing or additional securities it holds or will hold, or may continue to hold its current position.
