BioSingapore Signs MOU with AusBiotech

Cross border collaboration to be fostered

Industry association BioSingapore announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with its Australian counterpart, AusBiotech. The two associations will promote collaboration between their members, as well as Exchange views on industry development and facilitate personal interaction among companies and organizations involved in the life sciences from the private and public sectors.

Signing the MOU in Perth on behalf of BioSingapore was its Chairman, Steven Fang, who is also Group CEO of CyGenics and Roland Yap, Executive Director, BioSingapore. AusBiotech was represented by Dr Anna Lavelle, CEO, AusBiotech, and its Chairman of AusBiotech, Professor Simon Carroll with Co-Chairmen of AusBiotech Western Branch, Dr Janet Preuss and Dr David Cox witnessing the inking. BioSingapore will look to provide visitor office facilities at its Market Street corporate office for AusBiotech members coming to Singapore, while AusBiotech will provide the same service, primarily at the Western Australian Innovation Centre, Technology Park in Perth. Both associations will also accord reciprocal rights and privileges to each other's members.
