NZBIO has a new chief executive. Dr Suzanne Bertrand will take over from Dr Michelle Sullivan, who is stepping down for family reasons.

Dr Bertrand was previously director, international linkages at the Ministry for Science and Innovation. She has a background in academia, industry and government and has experience in the bioscience industry, having managed projects and companies in Canada, China, Tunisia, the United States and New Zealand.
