ZetaView®

Fast characterization of suspensions by nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA)

Particle Metrix GmbH

Nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) is a single particle technique traditionally known for size and concentration determination of in liquid dispersed nanoparticles. By analysis of Brownian motion, size is measured independent from particle material. The visualization of the particles allows live-sizing and counting for direct feedback. Particle surface chemistry of e.g. vesicles or nanobubbles is characterized by determination of zeta potential of each individual particle, resulting in high resolution zeta potential distributions. For specific characterization, phenotyping of EVs or other bionanoparticles is performed by application fluorescently lablelled biomarkers. Antibodies, membrane dyes or RNA/DNA dyes are detected in up to 12 fluorescence channels in combination with colocalization feature.
