Bubble-free column packing for pilot scale

YMC PilotPLUS columns are completely biocompatible and characterised by safe and easy handling. Packing, operating and unpacking the column are quick and reproducibly performed due to a number of significant advantages. With the handy infilling assistance tool the slurry can be transferred into the column rapidly and bubble-free. Due to the unique drain function, the piston is inserted directly into the liquid and excessive solvent can flow out. The innovative permanent sealing seals reliable immediately. This way, a bubble-free piston insertion is guaranteed. The innovative sealing principle combines sealing and frit fixation and makes the frit and gasket removal very easy and tool-free. Because of the special frit construction, the flow path is optimised and the sample is distributed evenly across the column bed. This provides improved chromatographic results. The key for fast unpacking is the removable column body. The columns are available with 70, 100, 140 or 200 mm diameters and in two lengths: 500 and 850 mm.
