The MabSelect™ family comprises MabSelect, MabSelect Xtra™, MabSelect SuRe™ and MabSelect SuRe LX. MabSelect Xtra is based on high-flow agarose base matrix with slightly increased porosity and decreased particle size, resulting in higher dynamic binding capacity and higher capacity for many Fc-fusion proteins.

MabSelect SuRe is based on an alkali-stabilized rProtein A-based ligand that provides greater stability than conventional rProtein A-based resins, allowing extended use of 0.1–0.5 M NaOH for cleaning in place. MabSelect SuRe LX gives even higher binding capacity at longer residence time. The latest addition to the MabSelect resin family is MabSelect PrismA™, an affinity chromatography resin that has been improved with an optimized high-flow agarose base matrix and a genetically engineered protein A-derived ligand. This allows future demands in mAb purification to be met, including processing of many bispecific antibodies. MabSelect PrismA delivers enhanced dynamic binding capacity and excellent alkaline stability enabling efficient cleaning and sanitization using 0.5–1.0 M NaOH
