Cinpathogen



Cinpathogen is a major partner in the the Fudan-Cinpathogen Center for Clinical and Molecular Research in the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at Fudan University. The company brings together clinical operations, modern diagnostic laboratories and access to one of the largest tissue banks dedicated to diseases of the blood and immune systems to support diagnosis and conduct protocol-driven research on the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of disease.

Ongoing research programs at Cinpathogen are designed in accordance with guidelines set forth by the World Medical Association (WMA), the Declaration of Helsinki, (2004), the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS), the International Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects (2002), and have been reviewed by investigative review and ethical boards in both China and the US.

Cinpathogen also provides standardized sample collection and biopsy procedures as well as protocol-driven diagnostic paradigms for patients with hematopoietc and lymphoid diseases from hospitals all over Shanghai. By integrating advanced techniques in histopathology, immunochemistry , flow cytometry, cytogenetics, analytical chemistry and molecular biology, Cinpathogen has standardized diagnoses of hematopoietic and lymphoid neoplasms according to the World Health Organization (WHO) Classification (2001) and identified specific patterns and characteristics of these diseases in China.
