The Mission of AFFiRiS is the development of proprietary products for the therapy of diseases with unmet medical need and high market values. Alzheimer´s Disease and Atherosclerosis have been identified as indications, which perfectly fit these goals.

AFFiRiS identifies and develops tailor-made vaccines based on peptide antigens. As compared to recombinant protein products, peptides have the intrinsic advantage to be available in relatively short time frames at relatively low costs from established contract manufacturers. To achieve product launch as quickly as possible, AFFiRiS is working with streamlined processes and tightly controlled milestones and timelines.

For the initiation of a sustained value generation chain as early as possible, AFFiRiS is committed to avoid unnecessary and long lasting lag phases for ambitious technology developments with uncertain value contributions.
