Novagali Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company specialized in ophthalmology
Founded in 2000, we are focused on new ocular therapeutics.
Our aim is to develop a broad portfolio of innovative ophthalmic products addressing the numerous needs of patients suffering from ocular conditions. The company strategy is to rapidly and efficiently build a commercial-stage pipeline by capitalizing on opportunities where conventional ocular formulations have limited the effectiveness of existing therapies, and to reformulate pharmaceutical compounds with known safety and efficacy.
Our core area of expertise is in the formulation and development of ophthalmic products.
Our product pipeline includes major products at various stages of development, which address the most important diseases encountered at the three different segment levels of the eye (surface, anterior and posterior segments) such as dry eye, allergy, glaucoma, retinopathies, etc. Their formulations are based on our proprietary technology platforms Novasorb® and Eyeject®, which optimize bioavailability of drugs as well as safety and comfort for the patient.
In order to speed up the development and marketing of our proprietary ophthalmic products, we are seeking to build strategic alliances with pharmaceutical and biotech firms in Europe, Japan and the US.
