Since our beginnings in 1978 in San Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona), we have been dedicated to the sale and manufacture of columns and consumables for chromatography.

The company was founded by 5 professional entrepreneurs who devised a joint project, starting their activity manufacturing their own products and consumables, and at the same time, representing in exclusive for Spain some of the most prestigious brands in the chromatography sector, thus building such a solid base from the beginning that has led us to be today the big company that we are.

After this powerful initial development, we started our diversification project by acquiring Tracer Analítica (a company specialized in the manufacture of HPLC columns) in1986 and creating the Spectroscopy Division (UV-VIS, AA and IR), this being the first of the 9 Divisions we currently have in Teknokroma.

A few years later, in 1990, we bought our current headquarters in San Cugat del Vallés, where we have more than 2000 m of facilities and laboratories. At that time we promoted and invested in the R&D department where we have direct collaboration with various Universities and official centres such as CDTI and CIDEM for the manufacture of capillary columns.

From 1995 onwards, we began expanding our products to Europe, opening in 1998 the first international Teknokroma office in Porto.

Actually we are represented in more than 50 countries around the world and we continue to make progress in the creation and consolidation of new divisions under development, evolving at a great pace in the field of new technologies and adapting our corporate identity to the new business reality in order to offer our clients the image that is closest to our values of proximity and customer orientation, which is what matters most to us.
