ANCA-associated vasculitides

ANCA-associated vasculitides (AAV) are diseases caused by vasculitis in which antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCAs) can be detected in the blood. The three AAVs are Churg-Strauss syndrome, microscopic polyangiitis and Wegener's granulomatosis. All feature a small-vessel vasculitis.
