Biofile (“Biofile” or “the Company”) is a privately held Finnish company specialising in autoimmune disease and infectious disease diagnostics. The Company employs at the moment group of highly skilled and motivated professionals who develop and manufacture very sensitive and specific diagnostic test kits for gastroenterology autoimmune and infectious diseases. Biofile’ diagnostics products provide accuracy, simplicity and speed, and enable early disease diagnosis and treatment. All of Biofile's diagnostics products are used in procedures performed in vitro (outside the body) and enhance patient well being.

The current product portfolio of Biofile, based on well-known ELISA/IFA technologies, consists of a panel of six diagnostic kits for celiac disease, kit for helicobacter pylori testing and two kits for diagnosing Crohn's disease. Additionally the Company focuses also to the importing of certain autoimmune diagnostic kits to the Local market and surraounding markets, private labels some supporting diagnostic kits and runs a specialist clinical service laboratory. Clinical Laboratory helps the Company to keep in touch with customers and their needs today and in the future.

The Company has a strong background in research. Through its own personnel and scientific network Biofile has the technical expertise to enable research and product development efforts, in addition to celiac disease, in other autoimmune diseases as Crohn's disease, Colitis Ulcerosa and in infectious diseases as Helicobacter.
