A central player in multiple pathways leading to inflammatory cell death, Gasdermin D acts as the executioner of pyroptosis and NETosis. By targeting this core node in innate immunity, we will inhibit multiple inflammatory pathways simultaneously, potentially creating a transformational therapy for patients with severe inflammatory diseases.
