As the only nationwide life sciences initiative in the area of conflict between students, companies and universities, btS brings the players together at one table. With around 200 events a year and over 800 members at 25 locations throughout Germany, it is the largest student initiative in the life sciences in Germany and the number one contact for bridging the gap between the laboratory and life. The diverse events range from lecture series and workshops to excursions, panel discussions and sports tournaments to the ScieCon company contact fair and the ScieTalk science congress. This gives students an overview of the broad spectrum of career prospects while they are still studying for their degree or doctorate, and at the same time gives companies the opportunity to present themselves to specific target groups.
