Biometra TSC ThermoShaker

With the Biometra TSC ThermoShaker, Analytik Jena offers a compact thermomixer with heating and cooling functions for various sample volumes for your laboratory bench. The device can heat, cool, and mix samples of up to 2 ml evenly and intensively in five interchangeable block modules and supports a wide range of incubation and shaking tasks. The variable mixing frequency of 250 rpm to 1,400 rpm in combination with the 2 mm mixing orbit enables gentle to vigorous shaking of the samples. Shaking can be continuous or with a timer function in combination with an acoustic signal (buzzer) and automatic shutdown.

Setting the parameters is intuitive, and during operation, the set and actual values are displayed simultaneously, making it easy to use. Active cooling with Peltier technology enables a temperature setting range from +4°C to +100°C. The TSC has a compact design and takes up little space with its flat profile and relatively small footprint (205 mm x 230 mm). In addition, the low-voltage power supply guarantees safe operation in cold rooms or incubators.

The new temperature calibration option allows the temperature currently shown on the display to be calibrated by ± 6%. This compensates for differences in the thermal behavior of vessels and PCR plates from different suppliers. The high-quality, quiet motor enables controlled and reproducible mixing frequencies across the entire setting range.
