Trent Thomason

Trent Thomason (born in February 4, 1972 in Inglewood, California) is a Christian artist and songwriter.

Thomason grew up in Long Beach, California and went to Woodrow Wilson High School. It was there that he got involved in drugs which is something he still regrets [1] However, he overcame that phase and managed to graduate in 1990.

Thomason then went to Long Beach City and then Chapman University where he received his Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy in 1999. At this time he was already married and working. When he graduated he started working as a music therapist. He was also in the process of moving to Australia. It was then, six months after graduating, when he got the call to audition for legendary Christian rock band Petra. He got the part and recorded with them their 2000 Grammy winning album Double Take.

While touring with the band for the Double Take tour, Thomason felt he should focus on his own projects and left the band shortly after. In 2002 he released his solo project titled Hold Out Your Hands. In 2004 he released his second album titled TEN.
