SoftDent is practice management software for dental offices. Originally developed by InfoSoft, based in White Marsh, MD, SoftDent was purchased by PracticeWorks which was then bought by Kodak. Suited for very large offices, and even multilocation offices. The most recent version v12 has new features that were originally in PracticeWorks. Softdent uses the C-tree database. Over 13,000 practices use SoftDent today in the United States
