Ousiotype

Ousiotype[1] is a term defined in segregation analysis. The phenotype scrutinized by segration analysis may be due to common (C) or rare (R) factors, which might be environmental or genetic. Individuals whose phenotype is due to common factors (C), rare (R) or both (CR) define the ousiotypes.
