The following table lists the heights of Soviet and Russian paramount leaders (Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, President of the Soviet Union and President of Russian Federation). The average height of Russian leaders is about 1.72 m (5'8).
