Kaisha Atakhanova



Kaisha Atakhanova is a Kazakhstani biologist specializing in the genetic effects of nuclear radiation. She was awarded the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2005.[1] for leading a campaign to prevent nuclear waste from being commercially imported into the Republic of Kazakhstan.
