International Journal of Medicine

The International Journal of Medicine is a general medical journal that has been created with the scientific contribution of 33 countries ( Europe, Asia, Africa, America).

The journal will be published in Athens, Greece with the collaboration of an international editorial board. The first issue will be ready on January 2008.

Except from publishing medical articles with the application of the peer-review system, this journal will present some new characteristics compared to the existing journals.

1. The reviewers are examined with a test of 100 questions in reviewing skills. In order to enter the test the candidates have to apply with good evidence of skills in medical writing ( they send their full text of publications as first authors as samples of writing). This is performed for prohibiting low quality reviewing work.

2. All subscribers are participating for free in long lasting low budget education programs and are examined online in order to be certified for the topics of the selected courses.

The official webpage of the journal is http://intermedjournal.page.tl and the content of it will be free online 1 year after the publication.
