Erectometer

An erectometer is a medical device, that measures the extent of the penile erection over the time[1].

For measurement a little band, which tension can be measured, is looped around the penis. The diameter and so the extent of erection can be inferred.

In medical practice it is used in urological polysomnography centres for diagnosis of erectile dysfunctions [2]. Erectometers were used in forensic psychiatry in combination with presentation of photographs in order to determine and prove the patient's reaction on certain content, which has been proven an inappropriate measure.
