Death adder

Death adder may refer to:

Snakes

  • All members of the genus Acanthophis: a group of highly venomous Australian elapids.
  • Agkistrodon contortrix, a venomous pit viper found in North America.[1]
  • Heterodon platirhinos, a non-venomous, North American colubrid, probably also belongs on this list. Wright and Wright (1957) mention "deaf adder"[1] as one of its many common names. This spelling may be incorrect, or it may be a phonetic approximation of a local pronunciation.

Fictional characters

  • Death Adder (comics) is also a fictional supervillain from Marvel Comics.
