De-asphalted oil



De-asphalted oil, DAO is a crude oil refinery process stream. It is the the main stream out of a de-asphalter unit in a crude oil refinery. The other stream out from the de-asphalter is the asphalt. The de-asphalter unit is usually a solvent de-asphalter unit.
