Cortical synaptosome




Cortical Synatosome is family of drugs, derived from isoquinoline, used to treat depression by preventing reuptake of dopamine by synaptosomes. The maleate was withdrawn from use in 1986 due to side effects including hemolytic anemia and renal failure.
