Activator technique

The Activator technique was created by Arlan Fuhr in 1974 as an alternative to manual or other instrumental based chiropractic adjustments. Chiropractors trained in the use of the activator technique are often referred to as 'activator' doctors.

The activator is a mechanical device that delivers a high velocity low force tap to the targeted area.
