08-04-2011: Actelion announced that Joseph C. Scodari - for personal reasons - has resigned from Actelion's Board of Directors at the beginning of August 2011.
Robert Cawthorn, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Actelion, commented: "We would like to thank Joe for his dedication to Actelion. We have benefited tremendously from his strategic vision as well as his leadership skills, all based on a long and distinguished career in the healthcare industry."
Robert Cawthorn concluded. "In his efforts on behalf of Actelion, he not only has earned the trust and respect of his fellow board members, but has also been held in high regard by our shareholders: He interacted with many of them, especially in the past few months. We understand his desire to dedicate more time to his personal endeavors and wish him and his family all the best for the future."
