Short description

The key research directions of RCRC after N.N. Blokhin of RAMS are: - genetics, biochemistry, biophysics, immunology, virology, morphology of tumours. The development of gene probe of inherited susceptibility to the development of certain malignant tumours, monitoring approach and strategy for carriers of cancer causing genes; - research of effects of endogenous and exogenous factors on cancer origin, molecular-biological research of oncogenesis. - Experimental and clinical development of novel means and methods of diagnostics, surgical, radiation drug (including biotheraputic) and combination therapy of malignant tumour of adults and children. Implementation of novel equipment and technologies (in particular, novel methods of interventional radiology and videosurgery) in oncology.
