Novozymes Delta (formerly Delta Biotechnology Ltd) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Novozymes A/S and was established in 1984 in Nottingham, UK. We license our proprietary recombinant protein expression system and the expression of albumin fusion proteins using our albufuseTM technology, both from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. We are the world’s first commercial producers of a GMP recombinant human albumin, Recombumin®, approved for use in human therapeutics. Our development pipeline includes recombinant proteins for use in commercial cell culture applications, albucult, rHA and deltaferrin, recombinant human transferrin.
