The Covid-19 antibody test challenge

Currently available antibody tests for Covid-19 immunity show false-positives

We explain innovative solutions for ELISA and other immunoassay protocols to overcome this challenge

Currently available antibody tests for IgG against SARS-CoV-2 show too many false-positive results.
In the current pandemic situation this is not acceptable. If you name a person immune against the virus due to a false-positive test and this person later gets infected, then you are in risk to produce a hard-to-find super-spreader for the virus. Simply due to erroneous diagnostic tests.

By using the combination of an assay diluent for reduction of interference and cross-reactivity, a specific and new surface blocker for serological assays and the right coating stabilizer for preservation of critical antigens, one enables for significantly better reliability of antibody testing.
Even reliable serological tests with a sample diluent of 1:10 become true, which don’t show any background.
