Nano-enabled chemotheraphy for pancreatic cancer with improved safety and efficacy

Authors Huan Meng and Xiangsheng Liu describe the custom-designing of a mesoporous silica nanoparticle (MSNP) platform to reduce the toxicity of irinotecan, a drug included in the four-drug regimen FOLFIRINOX, to treat pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
