Light-based technologies to optimize the quality of food and industrial products

Hamamatsu Photonics has been manufacturing image sensors for many years, including front- and back-illuminated CCDs, CMOS and InGaAs sensors especially extended InGaAs sensors with a sensitivity up to 1.9µm, 2.2µm or even 2.5µm are convincing with very little defective pixels and low dark current.

The extensive know-how of Hamamatsu Photonics in the production of image sensors, diffraction gratings and the integration of these in spectrometers are the perfect basis for the highly developed production of spectrometer modules.

The broad product portfolio includes spectrometers for the UV-VIS range as well as NIR and products tailored to Raman spectroscopy. The smallest Hamamatsu spectrometer is considered to be one of the smallest grating spectrometers in the world, measuring approximately 12 x 4 x 3 mm.

Furthermore, Hamamatsu offers complete SERS modules, Fabry-Perot interferometers and recently also an FT-IR engine with unique MEMS technology and a sensitivity of 1.1 to 2.5 µm. Please download our brochure for further information or contact us.
