Cytation 7 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader brings a unique level of automated microscopy and multi-mode detection into one easy-to-use platform. The system, driven by Gen5 software, includes upright and inverted microscopy optics, which opens up a wide range of cellular and reflected light applications in cell and biochemical research that cannot be performed on a standard plate reader.
Cytation 7’s inverted microscope supports fluorescence, brightfield and color brightfield from 1.25x to 60x to provide information on cell morphology, localization of signal, cell count or object identification.
The upright imaging module can be used to automate image acquisition, processing, image analysis and object count in assays such as ELISpot, colony counting, material inspection, and many more.
The multi-mode module features monochromator-based fluorescence, absorbance and luminescence, while temperature and gas control, plus variable shaking provide an ideal environment for live cell assays.
