Manual Pipetting of 384 Well Plates Made Easy

New multichannel pipettes for whole columns or rows of microtiter plates

Exact pipetting with reduced workload

With their 16 and 24 channels, the new mechanical multichannel pipettes Eppendorf Research® plus and the new electronic multichannel pipettes Eppendorf Xplorer® plus can now tackle entire columns and rows of a 384-well plate in one single step. Up to 24 reactions may thus be started and stopped simultaneously. An entire plate can be managed manually within the space of a minute.

This makes "alternate well pipetting method" with 8- and 12-channel pipettes in 384-well plates a thing of the past. Pipetting with the new Eppendorf multichannel pipettes requires less concentration, is faster and less prone to errors. An entire plate can be mastered manually in just about one minute. This saves time and increases the reproducibility of your results.

Precise seal of the pipette tips and minimum tip attachment forces

With its innovative epT.I.P.S.® 384 and ep Dualfilter T.I.P.S.® 384 pipette tips, Eppendorf offers users maximum safety. The unique SOFTattach technology uses elastic deformation grooves and contributes to a perfect tip fit and sealing of the system. The insertion forces have been further reduced by 40% per cone. A very fine tip shape and perfect coaxiality make safe manoeuvring into the tiny wells of a 384 well plate child's play. The Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept® has thus once again made a significant leap forward and pipetting becomes even more ergonomic and pleasant for the user, even at higher throughput rates.
