BACTair: A new impaction system for microbiological air monitoring

As regulations become tighter, the microbial monitoring of ambient air is gaining increasing importance.
This new system for airborne organism monitoring allows impaction onto culture media plates, where the plates function directly as collection heads. Together with AirPort MD8 the new method offers the following features:
- Integrated disposable sieve = no handling of re-usable sieves
- Individually packaged, sterile
- Optimized geometry = high retention efficiency
- Samples 1 m3 in 8 minutes
